Hi! I’m Aitor
Product and Industrial Designer
Confessed follower of Dieter Rams and his principles of good design, I advocate to integrate functionality in a quality aesthetic and eliminate all superfluous and unnecessary elements. A product must speak for itself, it does not need ornaments.
I am fully convinced design can change the world and improve people’s lives by taking into account the five senses, rather than the expected use of just two of them. I think details are the ones that make the difference, and differentiates a good design from a great design.
My Bio
Born in Madrid, since my childhood I always liked to draw cars and sneakers. Therefore, when I started university, I chose to study Industrial Design Engineering at UPM.
Hungry for new knowledge, I decided to study a Master in Design and Product Development at Elisava, one of the best design schools in Spain. There I learned what it really takes to design a project from 0, from the first phases of design thinking to the industrialization of it.
Currently, I continue to expand my knowledge in different fields such as Ux, research, and footwear design, one of my greatest passions. I also participate as a volunteer in the SuperGiz project, where we design prosthesis using 3d printing technology.
